The Role:

As an Assurance Senior Associate in IT you will work closely with our internal auditing team, external auditors and the audit committee, leading the IT risk and control assurance process for Heathrow. You will take ownership for the development and management of an effective IT controls framework in line with our operating model.  

In addition, the IT Risk Assurance Senior Associate will take responsibility for the annual programme of self-assessment and review of core IT processes, ensuring they still meet the requirements for the company and recommend key improvement actions.

The Person: 

Experience in IT Risk, Assurance and Auditing (preferably certified), ideally from a consultancy or similar environment will be key to operating effectively in this role. You will be delivering end to end IT assurance work for the business, where the ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of partners at all levels is integral to delivering success in the role. We are also looking for someone who has ITGC implementation & review experience, coupled with knowledge of maturity assessments. Educated to degree level would be required/ advantageous in this role. 

The Responsibilities:

You will lead the development and management of an effective performance measurement and controls framework in line with the Target Operating Model. You are responsible for the IT Risk Framework, including risk mitigation and action plans and the review of core IT processes. You will also facilitate audits, ensuring smooth delivery and implementation of recommendations. A key element of this role is finding opportunities for Business improvement that support the successful delivery of Heathrow’s business objectives.
