Internal Auditor - zero travel

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) has been asked by a leading utilities business based in Reading to recruit an Internal Auditor.

This role best suits an ambitious accountant/auditor looking to step into industry with a leading brand in a highly professional and supportive team. Sponsorship through a professional accountancy qualification is offered and there is a proven track record of ambitious professionals progressing into the wider finance team.

The role: 

• You will support in the delivery of complex end-to-end audits covering financial, operational, commercial and compliance
• Help ensure accuracy of audit findings and to follow up with process owners
• Build successful relationships with all stakeholders to influence and strengthen operational efficiencies and effectiveness, and promote best practice throughout the organisation

The candidate:

• Experience working in internal/external audit, compliance or risk assurance
• Working towards professional accountancy or IA qualification
• Driven and ambitious with the ability to assess and articulate improvements to processes across divers business units
• Strong influential, analytical and problem solving skills and great at building relationships
