Assistant Manager - Third Party Assurance, IA and SOX

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join a Top 10 practice firm’s internal audit department. This role will see you as the successful candidate work across interesting Sox, third party assurance and internal audit engagements within the corporate sector.

As the successful candidate, you will be working to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of complex technical internal audit and internal controls assignments across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. Working in a close and collaborative team, you will also be taking the first steps into management and take the responsibility for a small portfolio of corporate clients which will rise in line with your career. There are also opportunities for both national and international secondments.

The team is currently going through a period of sustained growth, which is demonstrated by recent large client wins. Their client portfolio consists of FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 businesses, in a variety of sectors including construction, manufacturing, FMCG and leisure. This is a varied role which will offer you a meritocratic environment, where there are clear frameworks in place to progress your career.

Ideally you will hold a relevant qualification ACA/ACCA/IIA and have recent SOX testing experience and come from an IA background. If you are interested in working for a Top 10 practice firm but want to stay clear of the ‘Big 4’ and want to retain an interesting client base this could be a great opportunity. Based in London, this role does have an element of national travel and you must be prepared for the occasional trip overseas.
