Head of Risk & Assurance

c. £75,000 plus attractive benefits

The Company

Formed in 2008, GreenSquare Group is a provider of housing, regeneration, care and support and commercial services across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. GreenSquare Group owns and manages over 11,000 properties and has a turnover of £83.8m.

We know that providing great places to a range of customers is also important. It means that both GreenSquare and the communities we serve will be more sustainable and healthy. It also allows us to provide more homes and opportunities in the future by making profits to reinvest.

We use our strength to make a wider contribution to society. We act as a force for social good – to make a difference. We reinvest our profits not only to deliver our main aims but also to deliver a range of projects and services. These complement and add value to our wider community.

The Role

To support the next phase of our development, we now seek to appoint a Head of Risk & Assurance. This newly created role will report directly the Chief Executive and form a key member of the Leadership Team.  The incoming Head will be responsible for ensuring GreenSquare has a robust approach to risk, compliance and assurance across our diverse range of activities. Critical to success, will be the ability to work in partnership across the business at all levels, against a backdrop of change, ensuring the Board and Executive team are supported to successfully and safely deliver the Corporate Plan.

The Candidate

  • An experienced risk management practitioner with strong knowledge of business assurance frameworks.
  • Proven strategy and policy development skills, with evidence of the production of work that has defined best practice in the field.
  • Experience of leading assurance and compliance functions.
  • A drive and ambition that matches that of the GreenSquare Group to create affordable housing and to make a wider contribution to society.
