Your new role
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop their career in a Risk environment.
- Providing administrative support for the Director of Risk and the Risk & Best Practice team, including in the creation and formatting of risk reports, letters and spreadsheets in Word, Powerpoint and Excel, scanning and password-protecting attachments, picking up internal and external telephone calls, and monitoring & responding to emails to the Risk and Best Practice mailbox.
- Assisting in the scheduling of regular meetings including with the firm's Departmental Risk Managers and Operational Risk Managers, the firm's external auditors (including ISO 9001 and 27001 auditors), PI and General insurers and brokers and Risk & Best Practice face-to-face training, plus general Risk & Best Practice team diary management
- Providing back-up cover for the Due Diligence Officers on Due Diligence queries and on-boarding, plus ongoing monitoring.
- Updating Risk & Best Practice team policies and guidance on the database, and updating relevant links on the intranet
What you'll need to succeed
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint), including using Excel to create graphs and pivot tables etc.
- Good word processing skills, ability to touch type
- Good working understanding of IT systems (including document management systems, finance systems, online training systems and cloud-based content-sharing sites)
- Ability to identify and work with IT to set up new management information (MI) reports and online training courses/webinars an advantage
- Familiarity with case management workflow systems an advantage - Awareness of the key principles of Information Security and Best Practice (and any specific knowledge of ISO 9001, Lexcel, and ISO 27001) an advantage
- Supporting on Internal Audits
