This is an opportunity to play an instrumental role in transforming our approach to risk management, working across Ofgem to provide expertise and to embed culture of effective risk management. By delivering insight, raising awareness and coordinating risk management reporting, you will contribute to the effective management and mitigation of organisational and financial risk. At the same time, you will also be a visible influence and a first point of contact for queries on control standards and reporting, providing workshops, training materials and liaising closely with internal and external auditors.

We are looking for a talented individual who has significant experience of risk management within the public sector/civil service. With a professional qualification or part-qualification in a Risk discipline (eg, an IRM diploma), and professional membership, you will have a strong track record in identifying, managing and tracking risks. You must be able to influence and challenge key stakeholders, fostering a proactive, dynamic environment where others are actively motivated to engage in best practice around risk. Extensive experience of corporate reporting, business planning and/or organisational performance is absolutely vital.
