Interim Credit Risk Analyst

Your new role
This is a 12 month maternity contract for a credit risk analyst with experience in some or all of the following areas: underwriting and risk/credit risk/analytical skills/report-writing, data analysis experience. The company are happy to train in some areas of the role if the person is keen to learn.
For the right candidate there would be opportunity to develop a longer term permanent career in the company.

Manage the internal credit evaluation system, ensuring that financial information is accurate and
qualitative data is relevant.
Daily interaction with AR/Credit Team to accurately update information.
Manage credit risk across a growing portfolio of clients
Be confident in making "own risk" credit decisions. and preparing detailed analysis of the customers'
business and financials to support such decisions
Evaluate and recommend system changes to increase risk monitoring.
Support Credit Risk Management area with ad-hoc reporting

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a mix of some or all of the below skills and experience:
Strong IT skills ad be a quick learner of new systems
Excellent report writing skills
Credit Underwriting experience
Risk Management experience
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Analytical skills
A can-do attitude
