Supply Risk Management Manager

Global leader in the distribution and logistics industry with operations across the US and Europe is looking for a team member for their supply risk department.

This is a very broad role that reaches beyond the Supply function and represents a unique opportunity to get in-depth knowledge of the business!

Reporting to the Supply Group Director the purpose of the Supply Risk Management Manager will be to build and manage the Risk Management practice across the business. It is a dynamic and diverse role where you will be working at the core of the business's activity closely cooperating with internal audit, operations, sales, FP&A and finance team. 

Among many other tasks you will:

• Recommend and oversee the implementation of changes in processes and controls to ensure operational efficiency, while maintaining a high control environment
• Define, recommend and actively contribute to the implementation of key control metrics  to ensure oversight and alignment across the different regions
• Liaise with Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control & SOX teams to ensure both top-down and bottom-up approach to risk management
• Perform independent analysis on various metrics and draw recommendations to continuously aim at improving the Supply function operational performance and providing greater transparency to the Groups businesses
• Supply and company inventories commodity price risk (in close cooperation with Commercial Supply & Wholesale team and region’s Controlling departments)

Your profile:

• Big 4 experience within industry ( non FS)
• Internal audit or operational/ financial experience ( for example in FP&A, sales, logistics, internal controls, compliance, risk management etc)
• 3 to 6 years experience in total
• Fluency in English, minimum of B2 level French
• Ability to travel up to 30% across Europe
• Analytical, confident, hands- on, agile, communicative 
• Strong business acumen, result- driven, curious and autonomous
