Job Details
Does the energy sector interest you? Are you an auditor with 3 to 4 years’ experience? Do you speak English and French fluently? Then this role might interest you! My client is looking for a senior internal auditor with Big 4 experience, and some industry experience as a huge advantage. The specificity of this role is that it requires very low travel (30% maximum) mainly in Europe.
Main tasks:
- Assist in the planning of audit engagements (including audit scope and audit programme);
- Identify objectives, risks and controls, weaknesses and/or instances of over-control;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls over the audit activities;
- Recommend improvements for internal control;
- Take into account the fundamental principles and operations of HR, Treasury, Legal, and other functional areas to ensure the relevance and appropriateness of audit findings;
- Present audit findings to management;
- Assist Supervisor in preforming follow-up with management;
- Test and evaluate the effectiveness of anti-fraud programmes and controls.
Profile required:
- 3-4 years’ experience in an audit firm and/or internal audit;
- Ideally experience in the sector, or in the Distribution sector;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field;
- Fluency in both English and French are a must, German and/or Polish is a plus.
