Senior Auditor, Risk Advisory

My client are a specialist provider of internal audit and risk advisory services to their external clients. Due to a planned expansion, they are seeking to appoint a qualified ACA/ACCA/CMIIA/CCAB (or equivalent) internal audit professional to join their London office.

Key Responsibilities include:

• End to end delivery of internal audit projects and assignments to their clients - this includes scoping, testing and fieldwork, report writing and delivering findings.
• Building and developing client relationships and representing your employer at all times to the best of your ability.
• Work closely with the Internal Audit Manager to deliver projects in a timely manner.
• Being keen to support and mentor more junior members of the team when they accompany you on audit. Always leading by example.

Desired experience:

• Previous experience gained from within an accounting practice or internal audit function
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Dynamic and driven personality - able to go "above and beyond" to impress and secure client relationships.
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

This is an organisation that actively promotes from within and with encourage their team to take on responsibility and work autonomously from the early days of your career. There is some travel with this role but the client also offers an excellent agile working policy as well as a genuine work/life balance. Standard office hours are 9.15-5.15 and the office is usually empty by 6pm.
