Risk Analysis

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the Capital & Impairment team within Credit Risk. The role would require you to take responsibility for the development of analytical solutions and robust management information for both regular and ad-hoc requests to support the management of Credit Risk. Working with predictive models and statistics you would need to produce extensive model monitoring and provide information to adhere to the regulatory reporting agenda. In this role you will work closely with other Credit Risk teams such as MI Reporting & Analysis and Predictive Analytics, as well as with other areas such as Finance. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst you will work with a degree of flexibility, and in interacting across these areas you will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of capabilities over time as well as specialising in a given area.

As part of this role you will also be expected to:

Produce monthly capital and impairment calculations and all associated controls, model reporting, MI and regulatory returns.
Assess the performance and stability of predictive models used for credit scoring, IRB capital calculations and IFRS 9 provision calculations.
Support the development of others through coaching, support and sharing best practice
In your current or previous roles you will have gained significant experience of working with a high degree of autonomy in an analytical environment, ideally within Credit Risk. You will possess a proactive approach and a desire to continually seek improvements to processes, and a willingness and aptitude to learn new systems and further your existing knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and exposure to IFRS9 models and approaches and/or building and developing Credit Risk model monitoring. Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel as well as be experienced in using statistical and reporting packages such as SAS or their equivalent is an essential requirement. Knowledge and experience of programming e.g. in SQL would be an advantage.

If you feel you have the right experience and skills and want to make a positive contribution to the continued success of the Coventry then please apply today
