Technology Risk Assurance Assistant Manager

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is recruiting a Technology Risk Assurance Assistant Manager to join the Manchester office in a Top 10 accountancy firm. Our client has experienced some exciting changes recently and are looking to expand their team with enthusiastic IT professionals. This business offers a hands-on assurance opening with an array of commercial and financial services clients to work with.

As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for developing IT General Controls and conducting application control reviews in support of internal and external audits. Businesses are becoming more and more dependent on the use of data and our client offers projects where you will review data analytics and perform controls testing to enhance your clients’ business performance. You will also be expected to lead small teams of IT audit specialists and update the senior management on engagements’ progress, particularly liaising closely with Managers. 

A successful candidate would ideally have a CISA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or similar) qualification, however, one’s experience will also be considered. You will have experience in IT general controls and application control reviews. You will have great IT capabilities and understanding of control deficiencies and how to leverage data analytics in audit environments. You will also have experience in auditing one of the following: SAP and/or Oracle.
