Risk & Compliance Manager - remote working

This FTSE listed organisation is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager on a 6 months fixed-term contract basis with the likely possibility of extending to 12 months.  Reporting to a very friendly Senior Manager, you will be a part of a large, high-performing 2^nd line of defence team.

Your role will lead on the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework within the finance function.  As manager, you will be a key contact for finance providing advice and guidance around their risks and how they can be best managed.  You will also have oversight for any ERM framework related 2^nd line assurance activities, assist in managing a small team, and contribute to the wider development of the risk, controls, and compliance function.

In terms of your background, you will ideally have experience in Enterprise Risk Management but certainly wider internal risk and control frameworks as well as knowledge of regulatory and financial risk.  An accounting, risk management, or audit qualification would be ideal but is not a must.  Specific sector experience is not a must either.

*the organisation can support remote working, but you will need to be UK based as there may be the occasional site visit (when possible) to their West Midlands HQ.
