The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company 

The Audit Risk Recruitment Company has been mandated by our client, a global healthcare and insurance business, to assist in their search for a Senior Risk and Controls Analyst. This role has come about from our client’s ongoing initiative to strengthen their 1st line risk management function. The successful candidate will support a wide range of Finance stakeholders to ensure adherence with enterprise policies, manage and monitor risk, build upon existing process and controls and provide expert advice to change and transformation programmes.

The position is paying up to £58,000 / per annum and includes a generous benefits package.

Job

  • Work with Group Finance divisions to appropriately manage finance risks and controls and maintain the necessary documentation and evidence required to demonstrate this
  • Provide risk & controls assistance to change and transformation projects within Group Finance including the building out of new Finance systems
  • Provide assistance to Business-wide compliance and risk monitoring engagements including annual control self-assessments and quarterly risk appetite monitoring
  • Support Group Finance staff in updating and organising up to date policy and process documentation, including risk registers, process mapping, capture and escalation of incidents, and articulation of key risks and controls for critical processes
  • Support finance teams across Market Units and group functions to monitor and report quarterly information on key controls and key risk indicators

Must have Experience and Qualifications

  • +1/2 Years Post Qualified Experience (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Experience of monthly and statutory financial reporting processes
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing strong financial controls and improving the efficiency of standard monthly/quarterly processes
  • Clarity of thought and demonstrable experience of having built out successful  relationships. An ability to present and build good rapport with non-financial oriented individuals and other Bupa finance teams.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A demonstrable experience of being able to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
