We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and commercially minded credit risk & data analyst to join our analytics team. Our team plays a vital role within the business, working cross-functionally supporting all areas of the business delivering solutions by building MI reports and conducting advanced data analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

Take ownership and delivery of a range of credit risk and data projects, including analytics, reporting, portfolio management, automating processes, testing and more.
Analysis of data as well as identifying trends and developing an in-depth understanding of our customers to improve strategies and business performance.
Monitor strategy and portfolio performance.
Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set, constantly identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, tools, technologies, etc.
Use a range of tools, including SQL and Excel to report and monitor all aspects of our credit performance, across a range of channels and products
Design, develop and utilise effective analysis and management information, identifying potential changes and identifying areas to further investigate and enhance.About you

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for the following:

The successful candidate will be passionate about Amigo's mission and be genuinely focussed on growing a business that does the best for our customers.
At least 2 years of experience in a data and analytics driven credit risk / analytics team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience and familiarity with SQL or similar programming language
A technical background in computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics or equivalent experience
A continuous improvement mind-set, constantly identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, tools, technologies, etc.
A strong academic background in quantitative discipline
Team player willing to get involved in team activities
