Computershare Loan services has an exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise Risk Team based in our Skipton office.

The role will have a mix of flexibility for both office and remote home working, however we are looking for people that are comfortable commuting to Skipton when the need should arise.

The CLS UK Enterprise Risk Team forms part of the wider CLS UK Risk Division, which sits within the Global Risk Business Unit, and is responsible for 2nd line oversight of Enterprise Risk Management activities by providing expert guidance, support and challenge with regards to Enterprise and Operational risk related matters in line with defined Global risk management standards and practices.

Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Risk, the Risk Governance and Framework Manager role has responsibility for the oversight of the enterprise risk (including operational risk) management framework across Computershare Loan Services (CLS) UK. Responsibilities include:

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Oversight of the Computershare Loan Services UK Enterprise Risk Management practices and adherence to Global Risk Management standards. This includes review of RCSA results and oversight of data held within the GRC tool ACE.
  • Delivery of initiatives which improves the understanding and effective management of risk within Computershare Loan Services UK. This includes facilitation of departmental risk registers reviews and change risk register reviews normally executed via risk workshops.
  • Delivery of Risk Management training to improve and strengthen the skills, knowledge and experience of Risk Management throughout the business. This includes training with regards to the GRC tool ACE.
  • Oversight of the Computershare Loan Services policy framework to ensure that policies remain fit for purposes and are adhered to. Activities include policy review and annual policy attestation activities.
  • Implementation of and support to Global Risk initiatives as directed by the Head of Enterprise Risk.
  • Provide support to the Business Continuity Manager, as directed by the Head of Enterprise Risk, on annual Business Impact Analysis/ BC plan data collection and review activities.

What will you bring to the role?

The ability to understand the risks that the business faces along with understanding appropriate mitigation strategies will be a skill of yours and you will need to be able to present this in an easily understandable way. You must be able to operate within the defined global Enterprise Risk Management Framework and be a collaborative individual with great attention to detail.

Building relationships with a variety of stakeholders will be an important part of this role, so you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with people in a variety of departments.

Other key skills required for this role will include:
  • Experience within a risk management role ideally within Financial Services organisation, preferably in a mortgage business.
  • Degree and/or Risk Management qualifications an advantage, but not essential.
  • Ability to deliver process, risk and control workshops (including remotely).
  • Understanding of Risk Management tools with an ability to input data, review and assess/extract existing data and to build and develop reports.
  • Understanding of Business Continuity and Operational Resilience requirements an advantage.
