JOB DESCRIPTION:
Associate for you will be directly involved in the execution and ongoing implementation of the liquidity risk management framework, and supporting processes, across multiple business segments.
The Liquidity Risk Associate will be analyzing, designing, monitoring, and performing liquidity risk management stress scenarios and supporting the preparation of related communications for senior management and regulatory audiences.
The Liquidity Risk Associate, working with a distributed team comprised of technical and business risk managers will review liquidity risk metrics and processes to identify emerging risks and areas of improvement within the governance framework.
This role uses market and internal data, as well as quantitative techniques, to perform analyses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify meaningful issues in which controls are not accurately crafted or are not operating efficiently.
Assess the risk and control environment for processes within coverage areas.
Validates the completion of agreed action plans under the mentorship of a supervisor.
Design and conduct the independent assessment of liquidity risks and risk management processes
Participate in the development of the Liquidity Risk Policy and Procedures, and related Stress Testing program documents
Implement improvements to existing policies and procedures documents for relevant areas
Identify and establish automation of processes and implement technical scripts to complete a variety of monitoring functions
Provide insights to the liquidity assumptions and stress testing parameters
Provide assistance to DTCC members from liquidity risk management perspective
Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk
Identify concerns and advances matters appropriately
QUALIFICATIONS:

Two to 5 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
Experience in Risk Management practices, including general understanding and curiosity about of liquidity risk management and stress testing
