One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations is looking for a Risk Advisor to co-ordinate risk management and organisational resilience.  

The role would suit a risk professional or internal auditor seeking to progress their career in risk management. 

  • Training in relevant qualifications (IRM, CBCI etc.) available
  • Part time/flexible working arrangements would be considered
  • No travel requirement, although occasional overnight stays away from home may be necessary for team away days etc.
  • Home-based applicants should attend quarterly Risk Management Committee, or other key, meetings in person at our Elephant and Castle headquarters* 

As Territorial Risk Advisor you will primarily focus on developing and enhancing the management of risks, but also coordinate insurance and business continuity arrangements.  

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. IRM, CIA or CCAB) or qualified by relevant experience in internal audit or risk management. Recently qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • The ability to work within The Salvation Army’s Christian Ethos and key values. 
     

*Territorial HQ will be moving to a new office currently under construction based in Denmark Hill, with a planned move date of Autumn 2023.
