My client is an established Financial Services provider based in the East Midlands. Due to the continued success of the business and subsequent expansion of the Credit Risk function they are currently recruiting for a Financial Risk Manager. Reporting to the Head of Financial Risk and supervising a small team, your main responsibilities will include; Support the substantive testing within the 2nd line oversight activity Track the actions arising from 2nd line oversight activity Help to deliver the 2nd line assurance plan Produce 2nd line oversight reports on model validation activity Implement efficiency improvements within Financial Risk Maintain the Prudential regulatory reporting items Ensure that ongoing review of the performance of all models is in place (e.g. re-calibration) or ensure that the appropriate waivers are obtained. Maintain the model inventory Deputise for the Head of Financial Risk at key Committees Assist and co-operate with internal and external auditors and regulators Adhere to the brand and culture values You will be a Financial Risk professional with a strong background within the Financial Services sector. You will have experience with SAS or a similar programme used to manipulate and process large datasets.
