About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Analyst to join our second line Financial Risk and Prudential Governance team, within the Risk Division at NFU Mutual.

With support from the team, you will play an integral role in maintaining a positive relationship with the regulator and helping to ensure that the Group continues to meet current prudential regulatory requirements.

You’ll help to co-ordinate interactions between NFU Mutual and our PRA supervisory team, including organising meetings and visits, preparing the business for reviews, and ensuring that information requests are fulfilled by the required deadlines.

You will also support the design and delivery of effective communications, training, and awareness to business stakeholders to ensure that they understand their regulatory responsibilities and are fully prepared for interactions with the regulator.

We work proactively towards shared ambitious goals, and pride ourselves on development. With support from the team, you’ll be given opportunities to build on your existing risk knowledge and experience to help ensure your success.

This role is based in our Lakehouse office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.

About you

You ideally have a background in risk or compliance. Your strong interpersonal skills give you the ability to build effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You are a highly organised and motivated individual and can effectively prioritise your own workload to ensure deadlines are met. You thrive in a small team environment and have a passion for personal development and continuous improvement.

To join our team, you’ll also have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of reading and digesting regulatory / industry (or similar) publications and identifying and interpreting the key elements applicable to the Group.
  • Experience of collating, analysing and presenting information in an appropriate and engaging way, tailored to the audience.
  • A qualification (or working towards) related to Insurance or Risk (desirable).

Benefits and Rewards

When you join our team, you can expect a supportive culture and an attractive range of rewards and benefits including:

  • Salary – up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Annual bonus (up to 10% of salary)
