Senior Audit Manager, Global Markets

Our client has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Audit Manager to lead audit projects from end to end in a dynamic and fast-paced investment bank environment. The Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risk, and ensuring that the bank's front office internal controls are operating effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct audits of trading and/or investment banking, from planning to reporting.
• Provide guidance to audit staff on conducting audits and preparing audit reports that effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and partner with them to effectively manage risks and strengthen the control environment.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to internal audit and incorporate best practices into the bank's audit function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in internal audit or risk management, with a focus on investment banking.
• Professional certification, such as a ACA or CIA, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies and best practices, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to lead audit projects from end to end and deliver high-quality results within tight timelines.
