Our client is a truly market leading brand with multiple sites in the UK are looking for a Supplier Risk Manager Finance to cover the Finance element of their Supplier Risk function at their site based in Gaydon, Warwickshire (you will like the products that they engineer!) an exciting place to work offering the flexibility of a hybrid working scenario (probably 3/2 days per week office/home) and a half day on a Friday! This role could also be viewed as a Senior Finance Business Partner due to certain aspects of the responsibilities but candidates need to have strong experience of dealing with suppliers, supplier risk and distressed suppliers What you can expect: Hybrid working between home and office 26 days holiday to start plus bank holidays Salary of between GBP63-80k DOE and Qualification Performance related annual bonus scheme Half day on a Friday! Contributory pension and more Attractive management vehicle lease scheme The chance to work for one of the UKs leading brands Role Purpose: As the Supplier Risk Manager Finance for the Business Office within Procurement, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a programme to help the company identify, assess and manage risks within its supply base, with an initial focus on financial and sustainability/ESG topics. One element of this role will be to identify and support activities relating to suppliers in distress. The role will involve liaising with the Senior Procurement Managers and Finance team to ensure accurate information is supplied, defining and developing the controls, measures, and reports to ensure the organisation delivers our operational and strategic short, medium, and long-term objectives. Accountable for ensuring that accurate financial information and insights are used in decision-making and performance is accurately measured and sound judgements are made to support business needs. Qualification & Experience: Similar role in Finance or Procurement within a business having a large and complex supply base. Ability to interpret financial statements and information to identify financial risks within and the strength of third parties located in the UK and internationally. Evidence of having developed and implemented effective supplier-risk processes across a large number of internal stakeholders. Understanding of, and a working experience of dealing with, suppliers in distress including suppliers in insolvency proceedings. Knowledge of ESG-related due diligence topics including related compliance laws and guidelines. Microsoft Office & specifically Excel / PowerPoint skills are required. Experience in an automotive environment is advantageous but not necessary. Educated to Degree level, preferably in line with the role requirements Professional qualifications and experience in Procurement/Finance Experienced or Qualified finance professional ACA, ACCA, CIMA Similar role in Finance experience within an aerospace or automotive or similar environment is advantageous but not necessary Microsoft Office & specifically Excel / PowerPoint skills are required.
