A leading UK bank is recruiting an internal auditor to join the risk audit team to focus on model risk. In this role you will be responsible for leading sections of audits covering the whole model lifecycle as well as influencing key stakeholders and working with other teams when required. The position offers a good work life balance as well as the option to work remotely a few days / week.
The suitable candidate for this position should hold a professional qualification (CMIIA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent), ideally have both audit and model risk experience and should come from a retail banking or wholesale banking background. You should have prior experience of working on audit engagements relating to model risk and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the associated risks and controls. Candidates coming from non-audit backgrounds will also be considered and will need to demonstrate an understanding of risk and control.
