Operational Risk Director (ICARA Process) - Investment Banking

Work with and collaborate directly with the 1LoD Risk & Control Manager providing comprehensive knowledge of the operational risk & control framework design and application across the span and extent of the business

Fostering a pro-active / speak-up culture in adherence to the Operational Risk Management Framework

Lead the annual Operational Risk Capital Scenario process (workshops and the capital calculation process).

Oversee periodic review and update of firm-wide policy, standards and procedures sharing knowledge and insight from the professional body and industry.

Sound understanding of the Operational Risk management Framework and key concepts of Operational Risk Management

Strong knowledge of ICARA processes and good practice with respect to Operational risk

Knowledge and understanding of front to back Business Unites / Support Functions

Experience in building and maintenance of GRC systems (Diligent / Galvanize preferably)

Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders

Strong and effective communicator with verbal and visual presentations

Strong and influential report writing skills

Knowledge and awareness of corporate governance and organisational structures
