Position: Project Manager - Risk Management

Location: Riverwoods IL 60015 (HYBRID - 3days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration: 3+ months (Possible Conversion or Extension)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading projects from original concept through final implementation. Manages all aspects of a project including: project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Partners with stakeholders to generate innovative ideas and approaches for communicating updates and processes improvements. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
• Defines project scopes and objectives. Gathers project requirements. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards. Reviews project deliverables. Resolves issues to
• ensure project goals and requirement are met on time and within budget.
• Leads collaboration with stakeholders through project meetings and shared data repositories.
• Ensures project requirements, progress, and results are understood by the team.
• Creates communication materials that provide timely, consistent, and accurate information.
• Educates and engages end-users.

Top must-have skills / Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years' experience with Project Management or Program Management is required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or any is required.
• PMP (Project management Professional) is a plus.
• Jira, Confluence, SharePoint is required.
• Proficient with MS Office Suites.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communications
• Financial services risk and compliance experience
