A Leading Banking organisation, based in London, is currently searching for a Senior Internal Auditors with a background in modelling to join their Group Internal Audit team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively on complex audits of high quality, establishing and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactively deliver across the risk / business audit matrix, developing a knowledge of business priorities and risk appetites.
  • Test key controls for assigned audits to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Co-ordinate production and collation of status reports, and take ownership for delivering high standard team related tasks.

Ideal requirements:

  • Knowledge of the generic elements of a model life cycle and associated risks.
  • Proven experience in a modelling capacity; e.g. VaR, Stressed VaR, IRC and CRM models in the market risk space, as well as EEPE, Stressed EEPE, Regulatory CVA models in the counterparty risk space.
  • Capital modelling and optimisation knowledge.
  • Statistical analysis and qualitative techniques for developing and validating models.
  • No previous audit experience is required, just basic knowledge.
